Ben later relocated to the Northwest and joined a prominent law firm in Seattle that specialized in serving asbestos victims.

His resourcefulness, fearlessness, and passion were once again quickly recognized, and he was promptly made a Partner in the firm. Eager for new challenges, Ben then co-founded his own firm in Seattle where he successfully represented individuals and families affected by asbestos and mesothelioma for nearly a decade.

During the course of his time in Seattle, Ben represented numerous clients throughout the State of Idaho. His frequent travels to Idaho caused him to fall in love with the Gem State, and he eventually relocated from Seattle to Boise, where he continues to represent the victims of mesothelioma and asbestos disease.

Ben is devoted to providing the highest-quality representation to every client, and his efforts have led to numerous six- and seven-figure settlements and verdicts. Over the years, Ben’s efforts and advocacy have resulted in tens of millions of dollars in recoveries for his clients. Ben recognizes the devastating impact that asbestos has on victims and their families, and he fearlessly pursues justice on their behalf.

In Idaho, Ben testified against a proposed House Bill that would have made it much harder for terminally ill Idaho mesothelioma victims to get their day in court. Due to Ben’s testimony and explanation of how this bill would harm Idahoans, along with the testimony of others opposed to the bill, the Committee killed the bill. This was a great victory for veterans and working people in Idaho who have been exposed to asbestos because they can now still get their day in court.

While in law school, Ben was on the editorial board of the SMU Law Review. He received the highest grade in his Trial Advocacy class and was nominated to membership on the SMU Board of Advocates. While in practice, Ben has been named a “Super Lawyer” – an award recognizing “outstanding lawyers … who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement” – on multiple occasions. He is licensed to practice law in Idaho and Washington.

Ben and his wife live on the Boise Bench. Away from the office, he enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, spoiling his dog, and cooking. Ben has volunteered his time at local Boise charitable organizations.
